Why is EICR important?
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) are a legal requirement. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (EAWR) state that all electrical installations must be inspected and tested regularly to ensure they are safe. EICRs are the most effective way to meet this requirement.
If you don’t have an EICR, you could be putting your employees and customers at risk. Electrical fires are a leading cause of death and injury in the workplace, and even a small electrical fault can cause a serious accident.
